MIRACLE：The World’s Most Advanced 6,000 Ton Subsea Rock Installation Vessel
On June 29 2017, the ‘world’s most advanced’ 6,000 ton subsea rock installation vessel for Jan De Nul group, undertaken by AVIC Ship and built by AVIC Weihai , was smoothly delivered.
It’s worth mentioning that the 6000tons subsea rock installation vessel, delivered by AVIC Weihai Shipyard, is not only the most advanced subsea rock installation vessel all over the world but also the first such kind of vessel delivered in China. Both shipowner and BV class thumb up and speak highly of this delivery as ‘MIRACLE’, which highly summarized the great effort taken by AVIC Ship and AVIC Weihai.
6000 tons subsea rock installation vessel together with the backhoe vessel owned by Jan De Nul Group sails head to the Baltic Sea and takes heavy responsibility in Construction of offshore wind power projects to connect Denmark and Germany, starting the transportation of offshore wind power in lower structure, rip-rapping construction, Gravel mounting and submarine laying cable and other work.
‘Built by AVIC SHIP’ will appear on the Europe maritime Silk Road and make a show in the Baltic Sea, which is not only means the AVIC Weihai stepping successfully on the road in the transformation and upgrading, but also means the AVIC SHIP made a great step on the way to fulfill the national strategy of ‘One Belt and One Road’ and ‘Made in China 2025’.
SHE, IS STOCKY AND LOVELY, BUT HER ABILITY IS REMARKABLE.
She looks like bighead fish with lovely shape, attracts countless fans at the beginning of the screen. The latest electric propulsion and variety of subsea rock installation and equip high-precision dynamic positioning system and Anti-rolling system, so that it likes a godly key stand at the sea. No fear of bad sea conditions, positioning accuracy, trenching, subsea rock installation, submarine cable, at one go without interruption.
She adopts high-precision sonar HIPAP positioning, underwater navigation systems and underwater robots(WROV) as well as positioning the location of the subsea rock installation, conveys stone with fully auto-mechanized conveyor belt, accurately positions the location of stone with advanced tower and slanting stone pipe. Full mechanization of automatic operations, the liberation of labor force, she has reached the international leading edge in terms of accuracy, efficiency and safety.
SHE, IS PRETTY, INTELLIGENT AND EXCELLENT.
She uses the Norway Ulstein latest integrated automatic management system which is the first time applied on this kind of vessel in the world. The large data, “Internet plus” and other modern top information-technology are utilized in this vessel, makes her fully automated operation, intelligent and efficient.
She is particular, and can easily cope with the rock protection on offshore structures; she also has ability to install rock at depths up to about 600 m by means of a flexible fall pipe. An inclined fall pipe will enable accurate rock installation around structures such as offshore wind turbine foundations and Oil & Gas platforms. The vessels will also act as a support vessel for a subsea trencher, for the burial of cables. In addition, a cable carrousel with related equipment can be installed on board, for placing cables on the seabed. The frequency converter system, propulsion system, DP system, mission control system, sonar measurement system, moon pool and underwater robot(WROV) are all customized only for her. Highly automatic and mechanized equipment can avoid the uncontrollability of manual operation and guarantee the safety during the work on the sea.
SHE, IS THE SUPERLATIVE IN FUNCTION, BUT ALSO SAFETY AND COMFORTABLE
She makes you enjoy the home-like sweet feeling. Based on the principle of people oriented and caring for crews, we invested large amounts of energy in the stage of design and production and arrangement of the furniture as well as the surface decoration. She equipped with all kinds of convenient accessories, which are both elegant and comfortable as well as shows her great glamour and unique style.
Adopt the multi-layer floating floor with the function of sound insulation, shock absorption and noise reduction in the living area of cabin, restaurant, bar, gym, recreation room, which have a perfect performance in the noise reduction, insulation and shock absorption. Import the stabilizer system from Germany, the comfort level can reach the international leading standard.
6000 TONS SUBSEA ROCK INSTALLATION VESSEL
As the latest high value-added , High technology content electrical propulsion offshore engineering vessel, detail designed by Deltamarin China, is a good practical example for the mixture of AVIC Ship and Deltamarin. By taking special designing advantage of Deltamarin with Internet, AVIC Ship fulfill the national strategy of ‘Internet+’, Prompt response and satisfy the designing request from AVIC Weihai by creating innovative design and Intelligent human-computer interaction, synergy, decision and execution, improve the design efficiency and quality.

6,000 tons subsea rock installation vessel is the perfect combination of business and humanity, as well as the elaborate creation of Jan De Nul Group, AVIC Ship and AVIC Weihai. All parties have invested tremendous energy and enthusiasm. We are so excited and proud to look at her lovely and stocky posture which will sailing on the sea.
Thanks to the Jan De Nul Group for choosing the AVIC Ship as the partner to jointly build ‘the world’s most advanced’ 6,000 tons subsea rock installation vessel, thanks to the support and help of the BV classification society, it is believed that after building the project of 6,000 tons subsea rock installation vessel, the technology and building and management level of AVIC Ship and AVIC Weihai will be able to reach a higher level, lead the transformation and upgrading of AVIC Weihai, and realize the ‘Gorgeous turn’.
We are looking forward to our next splendor! TOGETHER, WE CAN MAKE IT!
